Quigley Class of '61 Renunion
Jack grew up in Oak Park with his twin sister, Jill.
They lived at 639 S. Harvey in Oak Park.
They both attended Ascension Grammar School.
Jack graduated from Fenwick High School in 1959.
He attended Loyola University before attending Quigley and
graduated with the 5th year class of 1961.
Jack returned to Loyola for his undergraduate degree in History.
Then he did Master’s work at the University of Wisconsin.
He earned a Ph.D in History from the University of Notre
Dame. His research work was on the Isle of Man.
Jack’s first position was teaching history at Roosevelt University.
Later he settled in Beverly Hills, California and loved the
area. His sister, Jill,
says that he regretted that he had not moved there sooner.
Throughout his life Jack loved music and played several instruments.
After a brief illness Jack died on February 27, 1985.
