Quigley Class of '61 Renunion
After Quigley I went to St. Mary's,
Winona, MN. degree: B.S. in Business Administration.
Worked in accounting at Shell Oil,
Henrici's Restaurant, Green Giant Restaurants.
Married in 66 to Diane, three
children.
Moved to Marinette WI. to become
controller of a particleboard manufacturer.
Ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in
1982 for the Diocese of Green Bay.
Became a Bears fan, mostly to irritate
Packer fans. Starting working full time for the church in
Michigan's Upper Peninsula, serving three parishes.
Came back to Green Bay diocese, running
a youth retreat house.
After that I ran two small parishes in
northern Wisconsin, then moved to Cecil Wi in a slightly
larger parish.
It the last two assignments I was
parish director. I ran the parishes without a priest in the
parish.
Shortly after my assignment up north,
my wife died.
After colon cancer in 2008, I retired.
Since then I have wintered mostly in Gladstone, MI., with my
daughter
and summered in Wisconsin at a
small seasonal cabin on the Menominee River.
