Quigley Class of '61 Renunion
After QPS I went on to Niles College and to St.
Mary of the Lake. I was sent to the North American College in Rome
and was ordained in December of 1967. When I returned home I was
assigned to Immaculate Heart of Mary on Spaulding Ave, and then in
1971 to Holy Name Cathedral as an associate. I was laicized in 1977.
Having earned a Master’s in Clinical
Psychology, I began work as an alcoholism counselor At Ingalls
Hospital in Harvey. I married in 1978 and was blessed with two
children. In 1984 I moved to Janesville, WI where I still reside. I
was the director of Parkside Lodge of WI, an alcohol/drug rehab
hospital until 1994. After that I worked for Mercy Hospital in
Janesville to start a shelter for homeless families, the House of
Mercy. I retired in 2010.
